2×4 JMR Fabrication Table and Leg Kit

JMR Manufacturing has been hard at working getting new tools ready for market.  The JMR fabrication tables have been a huge hit in many different industries and for the at home fabricator.  The tables can be purchased in various sizes and custom sizes also.  Standard sizes start at 2×4x3/8 and go up depending on your need. JMR can also manufacture thick table tops blanchard ground and add machined holes for the more serious fabricators.

The new leg kits are manufactured from CNC laser cut plate 3/16″ thick and then formed on a press brake.  Dimple Die flares are added for extra strength.  The feet do have pre-drilled holes for you to add levelers or casters depending on your need.  Leveling feet and casters can be sourced through JMR or purchased from your favorite hardware company.  They are not included with the table top or leg kit.

The introductory price for the 2×4x3/8 JMR fabrication table top is 595.00 plus freight.  The table in this form comes with (4) JMR legs, (1) pre-welded on base to the table, (1) table top, and hardware to bolt the legs to the table base.  Once received all you have to do is bolt the legs on and start fabricating.

JMR does offer angle block kits and clamp down kits.  Call for details.

Making Tabs with a JMR TN 1000

The JMR TN1000 was designed to notch tube and pipe.  You can also cut flat bar to make brackets and tabs.  Below are some pictures we took this weekend at a trade show demonstrating this process to on lookers.  The flat bar in the demo is 1/8 inch thick.  You would not have a problem cutting thicker flat bar.  If you have any questions be sure to post up below or feel free to contact us.

Fabrication Tables

dsc_8786JMR Manufacturing is in the process of putting together a complete line of fabrication tables for the DIY fabricator and professional fabricators.  You will soon be able to order from a pre-designed list of fab tables and have it shipped to your home or business.  JMR will also be offering custom fabrication tables if needed.  The tables will be offered as table tops only or with stands.

The first fabrication table offered by JMR is the 2 foot x 4 foot, 3/8″ thick table top.  The 2′x4′x3/8″ can be used in both residential and commercial applications.  You will notice in the pictures the table features slots.  The slots are to be used with a clamp down kit like used on a milling table.  The table allows you to clamp your work in multiple areas.  You can also use them to bolt down fixtures for many different things.  One example is building a-arms for independent suspensions.  We will also be offering “V” blocks to hold round tube on our fab tables.  More information will soon follow.

Pricing for JMR Manufacturing Fabrication Table Tops will start and $195.00 for the 2×4x3/8. and go up depending on thickness and overall size.  JMR will be releasing a 3×4, 4×4, and a 4×6 fab table very soon.  Some of these will be offered in thicker versions and blanchard ground.  Some of the thicker tables will feature drilled and tapped holes for studs.

JMR Tube Saws / Hole Saws

JMR offers a complete line of tube saws  / hole saws.  The JMR Tube Saws are threaded with a standard thread like other hole saws.  JMR hole saws are a perfect addition to the JMR Tube Notcher TN1000.

The JMR Hole Saws / Tube Saws were designed for notching tube. The extra length on the long tube saws allow you to cut high angle notches without the need to stop and break off the end of the tube. All JMR Tube Saws are fine tooth with more teeth per inch than conventional hole saws. The body of the JMR Tube Saw is heat treated after they are rolled and welded, giving them a harder tooth and a more true shape. The heat treated body has not coating to flake off and contaminate your weld area. The body of the JMR Tube saws are also thicker than conventional hole saws. The hole saws will thread onto any tube notcher.

JMR TN-1000 Tube and Pipe Notcher

The JMR TN-1000 Tubing and Pipe Notcher is a premium tool and the most versatile hole saw notcher on the market.  The TN-1000 is manufactured from bar stock, not plate, to increase strength.  The TN-1000 has a 1.125″ induction hardened shaft supported by Timken bearings.  The custom designed shaft seals prevent bearing and shaft damage over years of service.  The shaft accepts replaceable hole saw mounting threads.

Angle changes are made simple due to a Timken thrust bearing at the pivot point.  The JMR TN-1000 can be rotated 180 degrees around the end of the tube to get the angle you need from either side of the tube.  The TN-1000 will also do offset notches with the addition of our shim package.
